(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 26 - The restrictions envisaged by the latest government measure risk causing a further loss in consumption and GDP of about 17.5 billion euros in the fourth quarter of the year, concentrated in the catering and tourism sectors, conviviality and recreation in general, transport and personal care, leading to an overall reduction in consumption in 2020 to over 133 billion euros compared to 2019 (-12.2% in real terms). Confcommercio writes it, commenting on the effects of the new Dpcm. The drop in spending at hotels would exceed 55% and that at restaurants would be close to 50%. (HANDLE).
