The crisis upsets the government's reform agenda

The Prime Minister has once again postponed the application of the thorny overhaul of unemployment insurance to April 1, 2021.

More than four months after the first act, which took place on July 17, Prime Minister Jean Castex once again received the social partners in Matignon for a social conference marked by the economic consequences of the epidemic recovery these last few weeks.

At the end of a three-hour meeting and accompanied by the Minister of Labor, Élisabeth Borne, the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, Bruno Le Maire, and the Secretary of State in charge of Pensions and Occupational Health, Laurent Pietraszewski, the Prime Minister once again agreed to postpone the application of the thorny reform of unemployment insurance.
