If you could, what would you say to yourself 25 years from now?
With that idea, Clarín launched a campaign in which it offers readers the possibility of sending a message that
will be saved for two and a half decades
and receiving it at that time in their mailboxes.
The initiative has to do with the fact that
Clarín will be 100 years old
on Monday, August 28, 2045
.
"We want to invite you to be part of that anniversary by sending a message to yourself, addressed to your 'future self'. We will keep it for 25 years and on that date we will forward your own message by email."

But without a doubt, what most attracted attention were the photos of the main Argentine political leaders that were published this Sunday in all formats (paper, networks, web), with simulations of how they would look in a quarter of a century.
The figures of
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Axel Kicillof, Martín Lousteau, Sergio Massa, Elisa Carrió, María Eugenia Vidal Alberto Fernández, Mauricio Macri, Santiago Cafiero, Ernesto Sanz and Cristina and Máximo Kirchner are there
.
Each one, with the age that he would be in 2045. This Monday the images of other leaders will be added, such as Graciela Camaño and Miguel Ángel Pichetto.
The campaign generated, of course, repercussions on social networks, where many chose projects, dreams or plans they have for themselves and for the country in general in the future.
"I wish that by 2045, Argentina, our country, will once again be a respected nation,
that our children and grandchildren do not think about emigrating
, that there is illiteracy '0', unemployment '0', that the rulers and leaders represent us without interest personal, "wrote Claudio Andermann, for example.
Christian Correa added: "I wish that in 2045 we will be a world power in Education, Science, Health. That there is no inflation. That the economy is stable and healthy. That there be no more corruption. That there be no cracks. That my children and future grandchildren live happily in a united Argentina ".
In general, the messages had to do with the need for a better future for the country.
As Lilian Haines wrote: "May Argentina be on the path of being a Republic for all Argentines, without inequality and full of opportunities for its people."
