836 people were diagnosed yesterday (Monday) as positive for Corona, according to updated data published this evening by the Ministry of Health regarding the disease with the virus across the country.

At midnight, 480 new infections were reported in 27,082 tests.

The verified rate continues to decline and now stands at 1.8%.

According to the data, there are currently 12,586 active patients in Israel.

Hospitals across the country are hospitalized with 835 corona patients, of whom 464 are in critical condition, 196 are respirators and 123 are in moderate condition.

The data show that the number of patients in a critical condition is decreasing day by day: 498 critically ill patients were reported yesterday, the number was 519 on Tuesday, and 543 on Saturday.

Currently, there are 768 health staff members who are in isolation: 101 doctors, 233 nurses, and 434 in other professions.

Meanwhile, following the decline in the number of Corona patients, Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital announced the closure of two Corona wards.

At this stage, the hospital continues to have two corona wards for patients in mild and moderate condition, and two intensive care units for difficult and critical patients, which, among other things, allow immediate availability of respirators and Acmo devices.

As of this evening, 40 corona patients are hospitalized at Hadassah Ein Kerem.

32 of them in critical and critical condition, and 17 respirators.

"We at Hadassah Ein Kerem are currently preparing for the immediate admission of 100 corona patients as needed," stressed Hadassah CEO Prof. Zeev Rothstein. Initiated expenditure for short vacations and recharging batteries, of course within the framework allowed these days.

It is important for us to allow all people of nursing, medicine, social work, imaging and operations to enjoy a little respite while returning to work in the maternity wards.

"At the same time, we must not forget that there are patients of varying degrees who are still treated with devotion in us, also breathing in a critical condition. The intensive care in them continues and the staffs continue to fight for the lives of the patients, for every breath and breath."
