Facebook enters the fiercely competitive cloud gaming market

Its offer is free and is limited to mobile games. It comes with a new advertising format.


After Microsoft, Google and Amazon, it's Facebook's turn to invest in the cloud gaming segment, or video game streaming.

But if the first ambition, against a subscription, to bring in the homes of console quality video games without downloading or purchasing a dedicated machine, the social network plays in a completely different category.

The service is currently reserved for a handful of American states and will gradually be deployed in the country and then internationally.

Only a few titles are available, including a car racing game, a golf game and a card game.
