France reported 523 deaths in 24 hours on Tuesday, the highest number since April. The Gallic Ministry of Health has also added 33,417 new positives since yesterday. France broke its record for daily infections last Sunday with 52,010. The United Kingdom reported 367 deaths from covid-19 in the last twenty-four hours this Tuesday, the highest daily figure that has been recorded since the end of May. The British Government has also reported the detection of 22,885 new infections and 1,152 hospital admissions in the last day. The official death toll from coronavirus since the epidemic began in the United Kingdom exceeds 60,000. In Spain, the Ministry of Health has added 18,418 new infections this Tuesday and has notified 267 deaths to the official count, the worst data of the second wave. In total 1,116,738 people have been infected and 35,298 have died since the beginning of the pandemic, according to official data provided by Health. The Council of Ministers has asked Congress to extend the state of alarm decreed last Sunday for six months and has deleted from the initial text the articles related to the restriction of night mobility for each autonomous community to decide. In Madrid, the regional government is studying the perimeter closure of the Community, as assured by the president Isabel Díaz Ayuso. Its vice president, Ignacio Aguado, considers it necessary. For now, Navarra, La Rioja, Aragón, Asturias and Euskadi have closed their territories around the perimeter.
