Trump's victory one week after the vote in the United States
: after the approval of the Senate,
conservative Amy Coney Barrett was sworn in as the new judge of the Supreme Court
.
"It is a historic day for America," the president commented.
"We must have the final result on the night of November 3," tweeted the president, casting yet another suspicion about the vote in the mail.
But Twitter censored the post, calling it "controversial"
and possibly "misleading about how to participate in the elections."
The official results of the US vote, some observers explain, are never calculated on election night.
"It is a privilege to have been called to serve my country", were Barrett's first words after the oath.
"I will hold my position independently of politics and my preferences," he added.
"This is a historic day for America," Trump said at the ceremony.
"I greet the first mother of school-age children to become a judge of the Supreme Court", underlined the US president.
This time all with masks and respect for the spacing on the lawn in front of the White House.
It was different during the ceremony for Barrett's appointment, which has become a super-diffuser event of the infection from Covid-19, with dozens of people later testing positive including Trump.
