Several fire crews are working this Tuesday night to
contain the fire
that started in a building located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Parque Chacabuco.
There is a
risk of collapse
due to the effect of the flames.
It is a property located on the corner of Saraza and Emilio Miter,
where there is an event room.
"The fire developed violently and
affected the
building
structure
," said Walter Martínez, chief of the Fire Department of the City of Buenos Aires.
As indicated, the flames affect the ground floor and the first floor of the building.
"At this moment we are working on the affected property but luckily
there have been no victims,
" Martinez said.
The first reports indicate that the fire spread throughout the place and the firefighters, in addition to fighting those flames, were working to prevent the incident from affecting neighboring properties.
