Few guests, a huge wedding dress: Berlusconi's son got married - and this is what it looks like

The son of the former Italian prime minister was married to his heart's choice at a small wedding at a church in Milan.

The corona plague may have changed the way weddings are held, but it has not stopped people from getting married.

The wedding between the 32-year-old Brolosconi and the 31-year-old Pomgali was held earlier this month at the enchanting church of St. Ambraggio in Milan.

Only 40 guests were invited to the event, most of them relatives, who were required to wear face masks throughout the event.

Prominent in his absence was the father, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who was hospitalized at the time of the wedding after contracting the corona virus.

However, the couple did not want to wait any longer and decided to get married anyway.

The marriage proposal was last Christmas, followed by a huge wedding planned for the summer.

Due to the plague it was postponed to October, and this time the two were unwilling to give up.

After the religious ceremony at a church in Milan, the couple and guests proceeded to dinner and a party at a mansion in the province of Monza-Brianza, located north of Milan.

If you were to expect that in a wedding of this kind, in the atmosphere of the corona and with a few guests, the wedding dress and the groom's suit would be solid - this really was not the case.

Federica wore a huge wedding dress designed by Alessandra Rich with an extra large bottom, lace sleeves with puffy shoulders and a long tulle veil.

Some have said that the dress was inspired by the iconic dress worn by the late princess Diana at her wedding.

Looking at the side, Federica's chosen dress may seem ornate, grotesque and completely detached from the vibe of recent years, but when you look at the details, you discover a world and its fullness.

From the shiny ivory gloves, through the romantic collar, the delicate handmade embellishments on the lace in the puffy sleeves and even the bow tie on the pink high heels.

All together it creates a perhaps crowded, but sweet and romantic look that strikes a chord with the word "bride".

The groom Luigi wore a three-piece tuxedo suit in black, with a purple tie for a refreshing splash of color that bounces off the look.
