The relief that the rains brought to Córdoba, after several weeks of intense fires, seems to be ending.
This Wednesday the authorities reported that last Monday
the fire was rekindled
in the Tulumba area, where almost a hundred firefighters work to fight it.
The outbreak, of great proportions,
is registered in San Pedro Viejo and San Pedro Norte
, in the area known as Estancia Blanca Lidia, in the department of Tulumba, about 185 kilometers from the capital of Córdoba.
There, in the last hours, very high temperatures, a low percentage of humidity and strong winds were recorded that helped the fire to spread rapidly.
"Pasture and heavy forests are burned. The meteorology in the area is adverse, with high temperatures, and although it rained,
it was not the millimeter necessary for the drought in the province,

The official clarified that in the area where this great fire is registered "there are quite a few animals", but it is far from "the populated area" so the neighbors had not yet been evacuated.

, with the support of three hydrant planes from the Federal Fire Management System and the Provincial Plan that, until late afternoon, operated from the runway of the city of Deán Funes.
"The perimeter of fire reaches about 25 km in length, without risk to homes," the Government of Córdoba reported on its social networks in the last part of the situation at 8 am this Wednesday.
The rains that fell on Tuesday of last week had extinguished all the fire sources that were still active in the province.
But according to the authorities, the falling water was not enough in some areas where the drought is very important and the risk of new outbreaks is latent.

."
