The Lega Pro has decided to suspend the Primavera championship until November 24, when the dpcm that imposes new measures for the containment of Covid-19 will expire.
A decision taken by the president, Francesco Ghirelli, assisted by the presidents of the FIGC, Gabriele Gravina, of Lega A, Paolo dal Pino, and of Lega B, Mauro Balata.
"We must act to preserve the health of our young athletes and at the same time avoid a further increase in costs for our clubs which are already suffering devastating damage - explained Ghirelli -. The FIGC has suspended the youth championships.
And we too as Lega Pro for the moment we are suspending the races scheduled for the Primavera 3-Dante Berretti championship from 31 October to 24 November ".
