Former judge Saguto sentenced to 8 years and 6 months

(ANSA) - CALTANISSETTA, 28 OCT - The court of Caltanissetta sentenced the former president of the preventive measures section of the Palermo court Silvana Saguto to 8 years and 6 months, accused of having managed clientelistically, in exchange for money and favors, appointment of judicial administrators of assets seized and confiscated from the mafia.

   During the trial, Saguto had been removed from the judiciary by the CSM.
