(ANSA) - NEW YORK, OCTOBER 28 - Even after WhitneyHouston's death continues to make history, for the third time one of her albums is a diamond disc. This time it's about 'Whitney' (1987).
Diamond status equates to millions of albums sold.
The same status was obtained by 'Whitney Houston' (1985) and 'Bodyguard' (1992). It is the first time that an African-American artist has achieved such a record.
Houston, who tragically died in 2012 at the age of 48, also passed another milestone, over a billion views on YouTube for the single 'I Will Always LoveYou' (1992). (HANDLE)
