After the eviction of the

land seizure of

the Buenos Aires town of Guernica, picketers carried out this Thursday a series of

cuts and marches

in the main accesses to the City and also in the province of Buenos Aires.

The Obelisk is completely cut off

and the traffic of both private cars and Metrobus buses are diverted from 9 de Julio Avenue.

After Justice rejected the possibility of a third extension, several police mobiles arrived in the early morning of this Thursday towards the

Guernica property

and with the first rays of the sun they

began the eviction of the land taken

.

It occurs in a tense climate, with insults, stones and some rubber bullet shots.

Under the slogan "No to eviction, land to live in", social, picket, human rights and political organizations began at 7 am with cuts in key points and accesses to the City of Buenos Aires.

In the

Obelisco there is a total cut

of about 15 groups that make it impossible to traffic in both directions on Avenida 9 de Julio.

Those who circulate from Constitución are diverted to the height of Independencia and those who come from the north are diverted from Avenida Córdoba.

Those who travel from Avenida Corrientes are diverted from Avenida Callao.

There is also a presence of protesters on Avenida de Mayo between Lima and Salta with a partial cut off of circulation.

Some of the places chosen to demonstrate from 7 in the morning are Puente Pueyrredon, Puente La Noria, Puente Saavedra, the traffic cut is total on Avenida Maipú, at the Posadas Hospital on the Autopista del Oeste.

On the Buenos Aires La Plata highway, the entry of cars was diverted to 122nd street.

There is a

picket line at the level of the 197 in Panamericana

towards the Federal Capital, the congestion reaches the Pilar and Campana branches.

They will also focus on Avenida Independencia and Avenida 9 de Julio with mobilization towards Avenida Belgrano, in the Palace of Justice of the Nation, Diagonal Sur and Moreno and in Avenida de Mayo 900 in downtown Buenos Aires and in other parts of the country .

"The intransigence and the refusal to provide a solution more than 100 days ago on the part of the government of the Province of Buenos Aires has caused the deadline set by the judge of the case to arrive and without having proposed a single plot of land for the 1,400 families who are still waiting for a response, the Government escalates the provocation and threatens to evict, "the statement reads.

From the

Polo Obrero they

also announced that they will march to the Ministry of Social Development in claim of genuine work, public works plan, housing, urbanization of neighborhoods and settlements.

In the midst of the debate on land seizures and the right to private property, Buenos Aires Security Minister Sergio Berni had asked the Justice on Wednesday to postpone the eviction of Guernica until Monday.

The two previous suspensions aimed to support the tasks carried out by the Ministry of Community Development to subsidize the departure of the occupants through help with the purchase of materials to expand environments in the houses that some of the families lived, before the occupation, or an aid of 50 thousand pesos.

This Wednesday it was known by decree that the government of Axel Kicillof will deliver subsidies of up to 50 thousand pesos per month to discourage usurpations.

The benefit may be granted for a period of three months, although with the possibility of a single extension for another three.

The program will be in charge of the Ministry of Community Development, headed by Andrés "Cuervo" Larroque, who will have 54 million pesos in total to distribute.

According to the decree, the objective is "to serve the vulnerable population of the province of Buenos Aires that needs assistance to access a decent life, both in food and housing, improving living conditions for groups at social risk, and their quality of life ".

According confided to

Clarin

a leader of the ruling party

involved in negotiations with the occupants of the estate of President Peron, there would be some 400 families.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Government of Buenos Aires, Teresa García, said this Monday that it would be 15% of the people who came to have the intake at its maximum peak.
