According to media reports, two tourists were attacked and injured by a shark off the coast of Egypt.
According to the Egyptian newspaper "al-Ahram", the animal attacked a group of snorkelers.
A tourist guide was diving with a woman and her son in Ras Mohammed National Park near Sharm al Sheikh when the animal attacked the group.

The US television channel "CNN" reported that the child had lost an arm and his mother was deeply wounded.
Accordingly, the tourists were taken to a hospital, where the boy's arm was amputated.
He is also said to have suffered injuries to his back.
The animal was a whitetip ocean shark about two meters tall.
The Egyptian government then closed the area around the dive site.
