Since midnight, 4,867 tests have been performed, of which 62 came out positive - a positive test rate of 1.3%.

There are currently 11,254 active patients in Israel, 738 of whom are hospitalized.

410 of the patients are in critical condition, 190 of them respiratory.

In the last day, three people have died from the virus in Israel, and now the death toll in the country from the plague stands at 2,511 people.

Meanwhile, the Corona cabinet decided tonight to open the street shops in just nine days, on November 8th.

The synagogues, on the other hand, will resume operation the next day - in a limited format of 10 worshipers in the building and 20 worshipers in the open.

The B & Bs will also return to activity as early as Sunday, but in a limited format - with only nuclear families and no public pools and shared dining rooms.

In addition, it was decided to allow hairdressers, cosmetic and complementary medicine salons to return to operation as early as Sunday.

The cabinet decision was made after a heated debate that lasted many hours.

These are decisions in principle, and a vote is required on regulations that will be formulated and brought for cabinet approval by the Ministry of Health - and these will be brought for its approval today, and if approved will take effect on Sunday morning.

However, it is possible that the opening stages will be brought forward if the number of patients falls below 500 new patients on average per day.
