Covid-19: 256 new deaths and more than 49,000 contaminations in 24 hours

A 20% positivity rate

The positivity rate of tests carried out in France reached 20%, against 19.4% Thursday.

According to the government's daily report released this Friday, there are 22,153 hospitalized patients with the virus, including 2,563 new entries in 24 hours.

In intensive care, they are currently 3,368 patients, including 422 admitted since Thursday.

At the height of the crisis last April, 7,000 were in intensive care.
