How to prepare the bread in the pan: bread without an oven

  • Put the flour, sugar and yeast in a bowl and mix well.

  • Gradually pour in water and knead everything into a dough with your hands.

  • Add the salt and knead the dough into a ball.

  • Pour some oil over the dough ball and rub it into the dough.

  • Cover the bowl with a lid or kitchen towel and let the dough rise for 1.5 hours.

  • Then place the dough on a work surface, knead it well and shape it into a flat ball.

  • Brush a large pan with a little oil, put the batter in it, put the lid on, and let the batter rise again for 30 minutes.

  • Heat a second large pan with a lid on the stove and let the batter slide into it from the other pan.

    Carefully press the dough wide in the pan and put the lid on.

  • Bake the bread over low heat for 15 to 20 minutes until it is nicely browned and crispy at the bottom.

  • Grease a large plate with oil to turn the bread, or use baking paper: turn the bread on the plate and then slide it back into the pan.

    Put the lid on the pan again and bake the bread from the second side until golden-brown, this takes about 10 minutes.

  • Take out the bread and let it cool.
