Schools closed in Puglia, some postpone Dad 'need time' -

On the first day of suspension of lessons in presence in Puglia, as required by an order of the president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, some schools have preferred to postpone the start of the distance learning to allow families and teachers to organize themselves.

This happens, for example, in the primary and lower secondary school of the Aristide Gabelli comprehensive institute in Bari-Santo Spirito, where the director Guillermina De Gennaro communicated to the students that "the start of distance learning" is expected "from Monday 2 November ".

Same decision adopted by the head teacher Angelo Panebianco of the XXVII didactic circle of Bari-Palese who preferred to suspend the remote lessons of the primary school for today to convene an "organizational meeting in videoconference" with the teachers.

Streaming lessons should start on November 2nd.

"Although the regional government has been urged several times from May to today to take adequate health measures to allow the resumption of teaching activities in the presence in safety - they explain - still today, eight months after the closure of last March, it has not prepared an adequate system of territorial medicine, tracing of infections in schools and increase of the school public transport system ".

"Boys and girls, girls and boys from Puglia must return to school from Monday, otherwise - the parents declare - we will write to Minister Speranza and denounce Italy to WHO Europe, underlining how Puglia is not protecting the health of children and of girls, boys and girls in relation to their psycho-physical balance and in contravention of Article 14 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union ".
