Baby X Æ A-12 likes "radical art"

Grimes and Elon Musk's first child was born in May.
The couple gave their son the unusual name X Æ A-12 - and made headlines around the world.
Now the singer Grimes has spoken in an interview with the "New York Times" that she does not call her son by his full name - just X.
Controversial child name
After the name was announced, much had been speculated about its meaning.
The singer finally explained the string on Twitter: X is the "unknown variable".
Æ their elf spelling of Ai, which in turn stands for love and artificial intelligence.
And A-12 of her favorite aircraft: "No weapons, no defense, only speed. Great in battle, but non-violent".
Then the artist wrote: "A = Archangel, my favorite song".
The name still sparked a lot of discussion.
Some wondered how one could do such a thing to a child, others were not surprised by the naming of the uncompromising visionary Elon Musk.

"Babies also have taste"
In an interview, Grimes also said that X was surrounded by various artistic styles even as a baby - including works with age restrictions: "For example, we've already watched 'Apocalypse Now' and the like together," said the 32-year-old around six months after Birth.
The classic film by Francis Ford Coppola is only released in the USA from the age of 17.
"Babies have tastes too. They like some things and dislike others."
X Æ A-12 like "radical art," she explained.
So she doesn't believe in just surrounding him with cuddly toys and pastel colors.
According to media reports, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, has been with Musk for two years.
X is their first child.
The Tesla boss already has five sons (twins and triplets) from his first marriage to his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson.
