(ANSA) - LONDON, OCTOBER 31 - A slight decrease today in the daily cases of coronavirus diagnosed in the United Kingdom (from 24,405 to 21,915) which thus reach over one million since the beginning of the pandemic, a threshold already exceeded in Europe by Spain and France, while the deaths in 24 hours rose to 326 compared to 273 yesterday, up to a total of 46,555.
This was reported by the data of the Ministry of Health, against a background of almost 350,000 daily tests.
Today, after an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers, Boris Johnson is expected to announce a one-month second national semi-lockdown in England from Thursday 6 November.
