(ANSA) - BERLIN, OCTOBER 31 - With the first two landings, the new Berlin "Willy Brandt" airport is inaugurated in these minutes, in the presence of local institutions.
Identified with the initials BER, the airport opens after 14 years of work and with a delay of 9 years.
"It is a historic day", said the CEO of Lufthansa in Munich, "I still don't believe it at all".
An Easyjet plane from Tegel and a Lufthansa plane have just landed at the airport. (ANSA)
