(ANSA) - VENICE, OCTOBER 31 - Campo San Polo in Venice, the second largest square in the city after San Marco, has been completely flooded since this morning due to the rupture of an aqueduct pipe.
The high tide has nothing to do with it this time: the large area is submerged by several centimeters of water due to a hydraulic accident.
Firefighters and technicians from Veritas, the aqueduct company, intervened on the spot to stop the leak and secure the field.
