(ANSA) - MILAN, 02 NOV - "We are certain of one thing: the situation both in hospital health structures and also in local medicine has become unsustainable. It is necessary to intervene with an immediate and effective lockdown".
The President of the Order of Doctors of the city (Omceo), Roberto Carlo Rossi, asks for it for Milan.
There are no - writes Rossi - small remedies for big problems, just as one cannot play at unloading on other roles and responsibilities: the situation is very serious and without drastic interventions it can only get worse.
Above all if, moreover, we do not seriously equip ourselves to protect those doctors, even now, they are engaged in the front line, but without the necessary equipment and protective materials to carry out their work safely ".
Finally, Rossi underlines "the firm and unanimous decision of the new Milanese Council of the Order in making a request for immediate restrictive measures".
