Painful loss to Johnny Depp:

Actor Johnny Depp, who in recent years has been preoccupied mostly with lawsuits related to his tumultuous marriage and ugly divorce from actress Amber Heard, suffered a painful loss today (Monday) when the London Supreme Court ruled against him in a defamation lawsuit against my husband and editor-in-chief. The British tabloid The Sun.

The judge who heard the lawsuit filed by Depp after being nicknamed "beating women" ruled that the defendants were able to prove that what was published was not materially sinful to the truth and that he was unable to prove libel.

As you may recall, Page (57) has filed a lawsuit against the Sun tabloid distributors and its editor-in-chief for an article published in April 2018, in which he was accused of assaulting his then-wife, Amber Heard.

Heard's attorney, 34, said in response that the ruling was not surprising to anyone who followed the trial that took place over the summer.

"Very soon we will reveal much more information and evidence in the United States," she added.

Depp is pursuing another $ 50 million lawsuit against Heard in a Virginia court over an article published in the Washington Post in which he was accused of violence against her, even though his name was not explicitly mentioned.

The trial is expected to take place next year.

Depp and Heard spent several days in court during the three-week lawsuit phase of the lawsuit, both of which provide charged evidence of their dramatic and explosive relationship.

Depp and Heard met on the set of the movie "Rum Diaries" in 2012 and got married in 2015. They broke up after 15 months of tumultuous marriage and finally divorced in 2017, a divorce accompanied by mutual accusations of violence, drug use, lies and infidelity.
