The Ministry of Education authorized the return to face-to-face classes at a private university in Mendoza.
Maza University kicks off next Monday, November 9 with the final year students of careers that require professional practices, such as Pharmacy, Kinesiology, Oenology, Physical Education and Veterinary Medicine.
It is a novelty for the Cuyo province and, most of the country, where since March 16 there are no face-to-face classes at any educational level due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The national government allowed this university to return to the activities necessary for students to complete their academic journey.
The first to return to the practices will be the students of the last years.
"They will be able to obtain the regularities and accredit the necessary knowledge to advance with their careers," reported the academic entity based in Guaymallén, Greater Mendoza.
This Monday, November 2, the institution received the resolution of the Ministry of Education that approves the Covid-19 prevention protocol;
the procedure for entering, staying and leaving the university in the context of a pandemic and the particular instructions, presented a month ago by the authorities of La Maza.
And according to the university statement, the presence may be carried out as long as the province of Mendoza "maintains its health status or does not have measures that reverse the permitted activities."
"This partial return to activities will be carried out according to a planning that privileges and preserves health over all other considerations," reported the academic institution.
After 7 months closed due to the pandemic, Maza de Mendoza University will be the first to open to allow professional practices.
On Thursday the first meeting will be held at the Greater Mendoza headquarters to communicate the work guidelines and protocols.
The training will be in charge of the areas of Hygiene and Safety and Human Resources.
The pandemic did not stop the development of the academic year in the dictation of content, but it did hinder fundamental educational activities such as professional practices.
"We have developed general protocols, procedures for entering, staying and leaving the institution, registration forms and strict safety, biosafety and hygiene regulations for returning to the presence," explained the rector of the Maza University, Daniel Miranda.
The vice-rector Amalia Salafia explained to

that the laboratories for essential practices that work within the university will be enabled.
In the case of careers such as Physical Education, they were authorized to teach classes in clubs where the institution has agreements for sports practices.
Inside the university building, they will be able to open the library and laboratories that are vital for students.
