These evacuations could take place "in the next ten days", he said, the health authorities predicting "a point of saturation proven within ten days" in the intensive care units.
Transfers of patients have already taken place between establishments in the same region, "particularly in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes", and between regions, "Brittany being the most in demand" for these operations, carried out "for the moment by aerial ”, recalled Zaynab Riet, General Delegate of the FHF.
The Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, underlined Monday on RTL that "around forty transfers had already been made last week", of which "a certain number were made before the situation was too critical [...], in order to do things in anticipation, based on the experience of the first wave ”.
