(ANSA) - MILAN, NOV 03 - The Milan Court of Assizes of Appeal acquitted Vitaly Markiv, an Italian-Ukrainian and former soldier of the Ukrainian National Guard, accused (and initially sentenced to 24 years in prison) for the murder of AndyRocchelli, the 30-year-old photojournalist from Pavia killed by mortar blows on May 24, 2014, while he was making a report in Donbass, an area of Ukraine occupied by Russian separatists.
Markiv, acquitted for not having committed the crime, was sent to prison. (HANDLE).
