The burglars were apparently targeting objects from the Nazi era: Among other things, an SS uniform worth 27,000 euros was stolen from a museum in North Schleswig.

In the Deutsches Museum in Sønderborg, Denmark, burglars stole a Waffen-SS soldier's uniform and other items from the National Socialist era.

The museum announced on Facebook that the perpetrator or perpetrators were targeting objects with a National Socialist past and, in particular, uniforms.

Accordingly, a so-called boys' uniform was also stolen.

Such uniforms are coveted and valuable trophies for collectors.

This could have been a possible motive for the nightly break-in.

According to the police, the alarm was received early in the morning at 4:26 a.m.

According to the police, the SS uniform, which according to the museum is not an original, has an estimated value of 200,000 Danish kroner, which is the equivalent of around 27,000 euros.
