One day after the start of the school year, discontent rises in high schools.
In the morning, a dozen Parisian high schools were the target of brief blockades or blocking attempts.
After the intervention of the police, the situation quickly stabilized, according to the rectorate of Paris.
"We always have full classes, crowded, with students side by side" explains Jean, in front of the Colbert high school, in the 10th arrondissement.
"We are asking for half-size: make classes of 15" he says.
Some students are also calling for new rules for canteens. “The refectory is very small, without ventilation. We need a change in canteen hours to avoid excessive traffic ”asks Jules, a final year student at the Sophie-Germain high school.
