A Dutch woman disguised as a farm animal: Sylvie Meis was exposed as a shaggy alpaca in the ProSieben show "The Masked Singer".

The 42-year-old was thrown out of the show on Tuesday evening after receiving too few votes from viewers.

Then the presenter took off her costume.

"I'm super, super, super proud that I dared. Because: I've never really sung," said Meis, who is also known as a model, when the show was over for her.

To unmask, she had to pull a scaffolding from her head that represented the long neck of the cute animal.

She was disguised as an alpaca, with a preference for fancy tracksuits made of balloon silk and sneakers.

The image of the somewhat worn-out Meis was quite unusual - professionally, you always know her perfectly styled.

She conscientiously veiled her show participation.

"My child doesn't know either," she protested.

Bülent Ceylan guessed Sylvie Meis

Prior to the exposure, particular attention was paid to the alpaca's very small feet.

"These little feet are not normal," noted comedian Carolin Kebekus, who was a guest on the advice team.

Her colleague Bülent Ceylan finally gave the correct tip because of this anatomical abnormality - he relied on Meis after names like Karoline Herfurth and Nazan Eckes had also been mentioned.

"How cool is that? I recognized you by two things: The accent and your feet!" Ceylan shouted proudly after the breakup.

Sylvie Meis then openly admitted: "I have small feet, that's true."

It is size 36.

Meis said she knew on the day of her wedding that she would soon be on stage as an alpaca.

In September she married her fiancé Niclas Castello in Florence.

The preparations for the show went well in advance.

"I had already started choosing songs and also a first coaching session before I even got married. It started in the summer," said Meis.

"I think I played the alpaca role well"

She was satisfied with her performance.

"I think I played the alpaca role well. Everyone was confused. A much younger woman was expected or an influencer."

The presenter, born in Breda in the Netherlands, is known from the RTL show "Let's Dance" and as a model.

She has more than a million followers on Instagram.

Before her marriage to Niclas Castello, she was married to soccer player Rafael van der Vaart from 2005 to 2013.

The two have their son Damián.

In "The Masked Singer" celebrities sing in elaborate costumes and try not to be exposed.

However, if the audience chooses them from the show, they must take off their masks.

Before Meis, actress Veronica Ferres and presenter Jochen Schropp had to reveal their true identities.

Ferres was a bee, Schropp a lobster.
