As part of the gradual tourism start-up plan, this Saturday, November 7, the

Puerto Madero circuit

will be launched

, a

new outdoor tour of the “Tourism in Neighborhoods” program

, which will be added to the six circuits recently launched by the Ente of Tourism of Buenos Aires.

The circuit is committed, in addition to showing walking routes for tourists and residents, to take advantage of green areas and consolidate the social and urban integration of the Rodrigo Bueno neighborhood with Puerto Madero.

In this tour, the visitor will be able to meet

Latin American gastronomy

from the hand of entrepreneurs from the neighborhood and get to know

an organic nursery

, a sustainable project managed by residents of the neighborhood.

“Through these programs we want to invite the residents of Buenos Aires and tourists to live the experiences that are offered in the city, to get to know it and discover those less known places that have great attractions and immense potential.

There are many corners to explore and today we have that possibility to

rediscover it with the eyes of a tourist

”, expressed Gonzalo Robredo, president of the Tourism Board of the City of Buenos Aires.

This new circuit joins the existing ones in Chacarita, Villa Crespo, Barracas, Colegiales and Belgrano;

the latter, with two different options to get to know the neighborhood.

Puerto Madero and Rodrigo Bueno

The Puerto Madero neighborhood proposes an oasis within Buenos Aires.

A young neighborhood, linked to port origins, with stories of women in its streets, skyscrapers overlooking the river, a gastronomic hub and extensive green spaces.

Within the neighborhood and as part of the tour is the

Rodrigo Bueno neighborhood

, which has two highly recommended attractions: one is the

Rodrigo Bueno Gastronomic Patio

, a few meters from the Ecological Reserve, with stands where you can get to know different flavors of Latin America.

The other is a few meters from this patio, where 14 neighbors from the neighborhood, coordinated by an NGO, founded a nursery and work as a community to carry out the project.

That is why it is called “

Vivera

”, in feminine.

There you can buy vegetable, aromatic, floral seedlings and native plants.

All circuits can be viewed and downloaded from the Tourist Board's website, where there will be an online map of the route, a downloadable offline and information of interest, as well as the possibility of discounts to be used in participating businesses.

The initiative "Tourism in Neighborhoods" seeks to encourage tourism in the City by offering tours in the open air, strengthening the use of public space, guaranteeing mobility and safe transport, in order to recover local economic activity.

Each tour includes different points of interest that allow you to experience the culture of each space more closely.

The circuits invite you to visit squares, parks, special corners, murals, clubs and emblematic buildings, in addition to learning about the history and myths that mark the imprint of each neighborhood, as well as shops that represent the gastronomy of the place.

The circuits are designed to be done at any time of the day, as there are activities in the morning, afternoon and evening, with alternatives for all segments, from children, youth, family and the + LGBT community.

Information on each circuit can be accessed through the website
