Alzheimer's can start even decades before the onset of symptoms (one-minute sedation system)

An exciting video of a former ballerina with dementia (Alzheimer's) who remembers the choreography she danced decades ago went viral after being co-sponsored by an association to raise awareness for Alzheimer's.

The video shows Martha C. Gonzalez, who died in 2019, listening to Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake - which she danced in her youth, when she was a prima ballerina in New York ballet in the 1960s.

The moving documentary was published by the Asociacion Musica para Despertar, a Spanish charity that uses music throughout the lives of dementia patients to improve their mood and memory, among other things.

The video shows Gonzalez listening to music through a pair of headphones and soon begins to recreate the choreography she danced decades ago.

After she finishes her appearance, she is met with applause by those present at the Valencia care home.

She then told the employee at the place that she was "very excited".

Even actor Antonio Banderas shared the clip on Facebook and wrote that he hopes the video will serve as "a worthy recognition of her, her art and her passion."

The association summed it up when they wrote: "The power of music is immeasurable. Who will give and it will rest in peace on its bed."
