(ANSA) - PESARO, 09 NOV - The autumn session of the Rossini Opera Festival will be free of charge, on the website and on the social channels of the event. The seven events (two concerts and two opera productions) will take place in the Rossini Theater in Pesaro, without an audience. A selection of the Péchés de vieillesse performed by the pianist Alessandro Marangoni will be on the bill on Saturday 14 November at 8.30 pm; Sunday 15 November at 20.30 Mass in Milan and the Miserere conducted by Ferdinando Sulla, at the helm of the Gioachino Rossinie Philharmonic and the Chorus of the Teatro della Fortuna (MircaRosciani choir master), Among the performers Manuel Amati, Antonio Garés, Grigory Shkarupa, Svetlina Stoyanova. On 25, 27 and 29 November, Il barbiere di Siviglia will be re-proposed, staged by PierLuigi Pizzi, with Michele Spotti at the helm of the G. Rossini Symphony Orchestra and of the Ventidio Basso Theater Choir (Giovanni Farina choir director).
