(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, NOV 11 - The former secretary of PapaWojtyla, Cardinal Stanislao Dziwisz replies to the Polish TV documentary that sees him as a protagonist and that is shaking the country and the local Church.
The former archbishop of Krakow speaks of "defamatory accusations that would like to undermine the humble snack service to the Holy Pontiff John Paul II".
"Never, I repeat never - he underlines -, have I received money in exchange for participating in papal Masses; never, I stress never, have I received money to hide acts or facts destined for the superior attention of the Holy Father; never, and finally never, I favored unworthy people donations that can be inserted in some perverse logic of bartering ".
In the dossier of the broadcaster Tvn24 it is claimed that Dziwisz, at the time he was secretary of John Paul II, also covered up busi in exchange for financial support for the Polish Church.
