(ANSA) - NEW YORK, NOV 11 - The United States could reach 1 million new cases of Covid per day by the end of 2020. This is stated in a study by PantheonMacroeconomica cited by the American media, according to which the goal will be reached if the infections continue to grow by 34% per week as in the last month.
Other studies are more conservative in their estimates.
According to the University of Washington Institute of Health, there could be nearly 306,000 cases a day at the end of December, with the situation set to worsen in January reaching 793,000 infections a day.
