(ANSA) - BRAZIL, NOV 11 - Brazil has reached a little less than 163,000 deaths caused by the coronavirus, according to the latest data released last night by the health secretariats of 24 of the country's 27 states.


    In particular, 204 new deaths were reported between Monday and yesterday, raising the total number of victims of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic to 162,842.


    The State of Sao Paulo, the most affected by the disease, in addition to those of Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, have sent "incomplete data", according to what was reported by the local press, due to the hacker attack carried out for a few days.


    In the last 24 hours, 25,517 new cases have also been registered, raising the total number of infected people to 5,722,878 since the end of February, when the first positive results for tampons were confirmed.
