The pandemic endangers the survival in 2021 of 460,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): there are many realities "with less than 10 employees and less than 500,000 euros in turnover" at risk (11.5% of the total).
And a turnover of "80 billion and almost a million jobs" is at stake.
This was revealed by the II Censis-accountants Barometer on the economic trend.
95.5% of Italian accountants "found a serious loss of turnover in the last year, equal to or greater than 50% among the companies whose activities % of customers, for 45% in a share between 26% and 50%, for 24.9% in a minority) ". And "the blocked receipts and the high management costs to be incurred have created a short circuit whose outcome is a serious liquidity crisis for companies: 93.9%" of professionals observe "a cut equal to or greater than 50% ( of which 30.3% concerns over 50% of client companies, 38.1% a share between 26% and 50%, 25.5% a minority) ". This is what emerges from the II Barometer, based on the analysis and interpretation of the opinions of over 4,600 Italian accountants who joined the Censis-National Council of Accountants project and detected through a survey conducted in September 2020. To avoid death of small businesses, according to the category it is necessary to intervene here and now, acting on what has not worked: 79.9% "want more clarity in the regulatory texts, 76.7% ask for timeliness in clarifications on administrative practices, 70, 7% much less fulfillment, 67.2% a better distribution of public resources among the beneficiaries ", reads the dossier
