Coronavirus in France: 467 deaths and 23,794 contaminations in 24 hours

The health authorities also record 467 additional deaths due to Covid-19, against 425 on Thursday.

In total, 43,427 people have died from Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic in France, including 30,164 in hospitals.

4887 patients in intensive care

In the last 24 hours, 473 people have been admitted to intensive care for a total number of patients which stood at 4,887 this Friday, against 4,884 Thursday, for 7,700 beds currently available, as announced by the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran , at a press conference.

In total, 32,676 patients are currently hospitalized in France for a SARS-CoV-2 infection.
