(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOV 13 - The number of Covidin infections in Belgium continues to decrease relatively rapidly. This was announced during a press conference today by the inter-federal spokesman for the fight against Covid-19 Yves Van Laethem.
In the last seven days - the Belgian news agency specifies - 6,877 new cases have occurred per day, 48% less than in the previous period. "Every seven days the number of infections is halved. If this trend continues, we could reach 1,000 infections by the beginning of December," he added.
The number of hospitalizations also continues to decrease: yesterday 399 hospitalizations were registered. This is the lowest figure since 19 October. Deaths continue to rise. (HANDLE).
