They called them

"Schools for Future"

and they are very special flash mobs.

No slogan: only one hour of remote teaching, armed with computers and wi-fi, in front of schools throughout Italy.

They are students like Anita from Turin, who for days with some companions has been stationed in front of her school asking to have a lesson in the presence, who have asked all over Italy to assert their right to education.

The appointment is for this morning in front of your school;

the initiative was organized by the Priority Committee for the school that fights for face-to-face lessons.

"I and a schoolmate of mine are in front of our Liceo Galileo in Florence - says Pietro, 18, who joined the initiative with Simone aged 17 - we took the phone to teach with headphones, we got organized. We believe that one cannot do long distance lessons: one can learn something but education is a collective confrontation, following in class is quite another thing. For us, distance learning can be a way of staying still when frontal teaching is indeed possible but we want guarantees that as soon as possible we will return to the presence, we want to go back to school as it has always been thought, the strength of the school is the presence ".

Pietro is also worried about the high school exams that await him in June, "We still don't know what the high school will be like and we are worried about another possible stop in the second half of the school year".

Chiara Ponzini, mother and organizer adhering to 'Priority to the school' says that in front of some middle schools in Milan there are some kids who are demonstrating and that from next Friday and every Friday the initiative will be repeated in front of schools throughout Italy.

Also in Milan every Sunday in outdoor proximity parks, parents and children will have outdoor lessons, reading texts and commenting on them.

The protest against the Dad of the boys and girls of 'Schools for future' started in Turin.

It was Anita and Lisa who first launched this form of protest days ago.

"Something has changed after these days - says Anita happy to see other boys on the street with her - there is more awareness among the students, but also in older people".

The 12-year-old has been compared to Greta Thunberg, partly because of the similar sound of the name, but mostly because she is considered the face of the newborn movement.

"But I don't want to be famous, I just want to go back to school", the student rejects the comparison.
