After testing positive for coronavirus in Italy, Diego Maradona Junior presented complications and since Thursday he has been hospitalized in a hospital in Napoli.

The son of Cristiana Sinagra and the current technical director of Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata, who is recovering from a brain operation in a closed neighborhood in Tigre,

learned of the contagion on November 5

and, according to Italian media, days later he presented a picture of fever, cough and fatigue that led to his preventive hospitalization.

Diego Junior remains in the Cotugno hospital, but according to newspapers such as La Gazetta Dello Sport and La República, his evolution is favorable and he could even

be discharged shortly.

When he received the results of the test, Junior made a post on his Instagram account, which he accompanied with a photo with his partner, both wearing chinstraps.

"This period of shit does not end. After the great anxiety for Dad today we received the test result and unfortunately I as Nunzia are positive. We are symptomatic and I assure you that it is not pleasant at all," he wrote in Italian.

And he reproduced the information also in Spanish, with a request: "Please take care of yourselves."
