The federal government has announced a one-time special payment for certain professional groups in the wake of the corona pandemic.

This year, the corona pandemic * is not only particularly challenging for nursing staff and doctors.

soldiers and federal agents
are exposed, according to the Federal Government of "extra burden".
That is why the federal government has now planned a financial bonus for these professional groups.
As the German Press Agency (dpa) reports, the federal government has approved a
one-time special corona payment
for soldiers and federal officials of
up to 600 euros
.
The surcharge is intended to "alleviate" this burden, reports the dpa, citing the cabinet resolution of November 4th.
And it is already clear when the special payment will be made: The money is to be transferred to federal officials and soldiers

As early as October, the
collective bargaining for the public sector
decided that the lower income groups should receive a special payment of 600 euros.
There is 400 euros for employees in the middle income groups, while employees in the higher salary groups expect a surcharge of 300 euros.
This will now be understood for the officers and soldiers, the report continues.
