Arafat Abou-Chaker listens carefully and takes notes.
For many days of trial, Anis Ferchichi, better known as Bushido, spoke to the Berlin Regional Court about his complicated relationship with Abou-Chaker.
On this Monday, Bushido speaks of a firearm.
Abou-Chaker sits very quietly in the dock and takes notes.
The rapper and the Berlin clan boss were once friends.
And business partners.
According to Bushido, it was a forced collaboration.
Abou-Chaker is now charged, among other things, with attempted grave extortion, deprivation of liberty and dangerous bodily harm.
The rapper is the main witness in the trial against Arafat Abou-Chaker and three of his brothers.
"Neck band, slaps, kicks"
On this day, Senior Public Prosecutor Petra Leister asks whether Bushido Abou-Chaker has ever experienced violence.
"That would be a long day to tell everything," sighs Bushido.
It starts with Abou-Chaker's rude expression: "dog", "tail" and other insults that he does not want to repeat in court.
It was not always just insults.
Arafat Abou-Chaker does not shrink from attacking someone physically.
"Neck band, slaps, kicks," Bushido enumerates.
