(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 16 - "The assignment to general practitioners of the home care task for Covid patients" is in contrast with the emergency legislation. For this reason, the TAR of Lazio partially accepted an appeal brought by the Trade Union of Italian Doctors against certain measures of the Lazio Region. As a result of the regional decisions "General Medicine Medicines - specifies the TAR - appear to be invested with a completely improper home care function for Covid patients, which by law should only belong to the Special Continuity Care Units (Usca)". According to the TAR, doctors would be "dangerously distracted from the task of providing ordinary assistance, to the detriment of the concrete possibility of assisting the many non-Covid patients, many of whom suffering from even serious diseases". (HANDLE).
