Make oat milk yourself: You only need 2 ingredients for the plant drink
1.5 liters of water
100 g oat flakes (preferably tender)
The amount of water is roughly the same as the amount of oat milk you can get out after preparation.
You can of course adjust the quantities accordingly.
Note: the more oatmeal you take, the
thicker
the drink will be.
If you like, you can add other ingredients such as vanilla, cinnamon or agave syrup
to
sweeten
and
flavor the oat milk
.
You also need a high-performance
blender
and a so-called nut milk bag (promotional link).
This is a
cloth strainer

How to make oat milk yourself
Boil the
water
in a saucepan.
Add the
oat flakes
and, if you like, the other ingredient for flavoring.
Let the whole simmer for about 2 minutes.
Now let the pot contents cool down and then put them in a blender, where you mix everything very finely.
Now fill the oat mixture into a nut milk bag and squeeze it out until no more liquid comes out.
The
finished oat milk
can be in one or more fill clean bottles and hermetically closed for about
three days in the refrigerator
to keep.
The fresher it is prepared, the better it tastes.
You can use the remaining mass that is left in the nut milk bag for other purposes, for example for your porridge breakfast.

Of course, you can
basically use
oat milk
for anything that you also

: for muesli and porridge, in a shake for breakfast, for baking cakes, waffles or pancakes.
