(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 16 - The Moderna company has announced a longer shelf life for its candidate vaccinomRNA-1273 against COVID-19 at "refrigeration temperatures".


   The vaccine candidate is expected to remain stable at standard refrigeration temperatures between 2 ° and 8 ° C for 30 days, compared to the previous estimate of 7 days.

In addition, transport and long-term storage conditions are provided at standard freezer temperatures of -20 ° C for 6 months.
