Aerolineas Argentinas announced its

international flight

schedule

for the

summer season

with an increase in the offer that it had been having until now in both destinations and frequencies.

“With these flights we have the opportunity to return to some of the objectives that we set for ourselves at the beginning of the administration and which have to do with

strengthening the international network

.

It is important for the company and for the country to continue taking steps towards the

normalization of the activity,

”said Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolineas Argentinas.

The schedule includes the return of flights to Rome, New York, Bogotá, Cancun, Punta Cana and Salvador de Bahía.

All these destinations were suspended "due to restrictions resulting from the pandemic or because they operated only as special repatriation flights," the company said in a statement.

Starting tomorrow, November 17, Aerolineas Argentinas will begin to attend its international departures from Terminal A of the Ezeiza International Airport, while domestic flights will continue to depart from terminal C.

Health insurance

An interesting novelty announced by the company a few days ago is that all

air tickets to international destinations

purchased between November 2 and until April 2, 2021 will include

Assist Card

insurance

for a positive diagnosis of COVID-19 abroad .

More and more countries require this type of medical coverage as a condition of entry into their territories.

One of the examples is

Brazil

, which has requested medical insurance from travelers since the middle of the year.

Also in this sense, it must be clarified that for now, travelers can enter Brazil without restrictions, but only by air since land and sea borders remain closed.

This is why it is important for travelers to check the requirements to enter the chosen destination: to know if Argentines can enter and what the requirements are (something that in times of pandemic tends to change frequently).

There are countries that require a negative test, others impose quarantines or medical insurance and others only ask to complete an online form.
