Football idol Uwe Seeler is treated in hospital after a fit of weakness.
For the 84-year-old there is no mortal danger after the incident on Sunday evening, said Hamburger SV.
"Given the circumstances, he's doing fine," it said.
Seeler has to stay in the hospital for further examinations.
“Fortunately, the doctors couldn't find anything.
My father is doing well.
He will stay in the clinic for another day for observation, "said Seeler's daughter Kerstin McGovern of the" Bild "newspaper.
The honorary captain of the German national team is still suffering from the consequences of a fall in his home in Norderstedt.
In May of this year he broke his hip.
In the past few months, Seeler spoke up several times and reported on his gradual recovery - but also criticized the performances of HSV, for which he had played for many years.
