(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 17 - "This time they made the carrambata for me!".
This is how Raffaella Carrà comments on the tribute reserved for her by The Guardian on the occasion of the release of Explota Explota, the musical comedy that marks the directorial debut of the Uruguayan Nacho Alvarez.
The British newspaper dedicated a long article to the national 'Raffa', celebrating it as a "cultural icon that revolutionized entertainment in Italy and gave women the opportunity to take the initiative in the bedroom".
"I'm surprised, I didn't expect such recognition ... it really hit me!", She emphasizes.
"And of course I am honored by the fact that Nacho Alvarez has chosen my songs for his Opera Prima ... a sparkling cast, all very good and full of energy. I do not hide that, when I saw the film and I heard my songs sung by others artists, it had a certain effect on me, it does not often happen in the various talents to hear them repeat. I wish them all the success they deserve, also because the film comes out at a particular moment in which people's problems are very different, but they are not to blame and I wish them that everything goes for the best ".
